Dear stranger,
I had one of those real good long weekends. Woke up to the smell of banana pancakes and early morning rain, Saturday. It's been a long time since I had pancakes for breakfast (actually brunch) so it all seems new to my mouth. Mashed bananas add up cus I've never had em on my pancakes before. Yes, actually, my mom used to bake when we were little so we get to eat cakes and cupcakes on neon-colored tiny plates so it's a new scrumptious feeling for me right now.
Sunday i finished this book Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. It's really good considering that i hate sequels and the first one entitled Stargirl, was one of my favorites. You know at first I wasn't really interested in reading it cus reading the first one, i figured it would only mess it up for me but it didn't cus I was seeing Stargirl's perception about her relationship with Leo. Although I wanted her to end up with Perry Delloplane, i kind of expected that from Jerry Spinelli anyway.
I didn't get to do that photo shoot with my sister. Why? You know how the rain and the mountain wind can be depressing and all you want to do is curl up in bed, read a book, eat strawberries and listen to music? That's why. But it really didn't bum us that the rain spoiled it cus atleast we have several times to prepare. And to counteract that, we had a lovely and healthy brunch at Starbucks instead. Mikey bought bagels and fruits which was the highlight of my Monday.
Sometimes life has its own way and drags you long. As for us, let's just go along with it.
