Silversun Pickups

Dear stranger,

It's nice to have something to look forward to. Christmas is coming and everybody seems to be checking their Christmas lists and streets are starting to light up. How I wish it would snow for the first time. Incidentally, from where I am, which is the coldest spot in the Philippines, the weather is starting to get colder every day and soon people are going to start wearing colorful scarves, gloves, fur boots and coats, merely adding fun to the cold and it's going to make my day.

I've been making a list of what to make for my friends as presents. I'm thinking of buying my close girl friends vintage teacups so we could have a tea party during the summer. I'm done making my close friends letters and music mix for their Christmas.

My favorite gifts are books, pastels and old dresses. I hope my friends would take note. I just love receiving gifts from random friends especially those that they made themselves. I remembered my last birthday when an unexpected friend made me a card thanking me for the stuff I taught him. It was just lovely.

I'm also looking forward to the new year. I'm planning on writing a list of resolutions. My first resolution is to learn how to save up so I could go to concerts of my favorite folk rock and country / classic musicians before everything else which reminds me of the Chicago concert which will take place in Manila on February. Exciting.

My dad also promised us a big white house next Christmas. I know it's a long time from now and a lot will come about but it's nice to think about it sometimes. My dad is very good in keeping promises which makes him the best father in the world, I can honestly say.

I'm looking forward to a good day tomorrow. I know I will go out frolicking and eating as much chocolate ice cream again. And I will also be watching a movie with my good friends.

I hope everybody's got something wonderful to look forward to. Let's all start this month with bliss, whistling happy songs together with the Christmas carols.
