You can wake up now, the universe has ended.

Dear stranger,

Pardonnez-moi for being the lousiest blogger. But anyway, Christmas time is here, once again! The city has started to light up but unlike in the city of fine pine, the weather is the same as any other day. I haven't written much so here is a quick update:

My parents and I went out of town last November. We visited my sisters in the pine city and our relatives where we celebrated my mum and cousin's birthday. I bought Selected Tales by Edgar Allan Poe. I spent a few days with my adorable cousin, eating ice cream and watching cartoon films (his favorite is My Neighbor Totoro!)

I've been spending time with my high school friends recently. We went to the beach so we could watch the sun set from our tent, we went on crazy carnival rides, watched a ton of movies and talk about nothing and everything! It's really great reliving my friendship with them. They are the best.

Teaching French (or reading French stories) to public high school students has been one of the most fulfilling thing I have done. Also, being a little productive has been fulfilled for the last two months. I have read five books, watched too many films and listened to countless songs (i love you Chet Baker!)

Isabel is just magic. She's my new best friend and we talk about a lot of personal things lately and letters from her are just enchanting! We are going to send each other parcels for Christmas. Which reminds me, I will be sending Rachel (napoleoncomplex) a little Christmas playlist. She has really wonderful taste, so I hope she will like it.

I made a new Tumblr account. Oui, it was definitely because I needed a new start. Having abandoned my followers didn't even annoy me (I feel so terrible saying that though). I was never the person to stick to one online diary anyway but I promise to keep this one... for now. I also plan on doing something new as well. But I will tell you about it on New Year's Eve when I am finished with my New Year's resolutions. Quite silly, I know.

Tomorrow I will start my Christmas journey. I have downloaded all the Christmas movies and music I needed for this year, had asked my dad to find me a pair of Christmas pajamas, and bought packs of Christmas marshmallows for my hot cocoa. I am also finished making a list (..and checked it twice!) of presents I will be giving to my loved ones.

Here's a little Christmas gift for you, stranger. A playlist! Of course ;)
