No one belongs here more than you.

Dear stranger,

Et voilà! My new year's resolutions. It took me awhile and I apologize for my lousiness as a blogger. It is one of my resolutions to blog more often from now on...

  1. Wear high heels more often.
  2. Listen to more wonderful music, especially français chansons!
  3. Become a pescetarian. Eat meat occasionally.
  4. Stick to my self-studying schedule for the rest of the summer. This involves 3 hours of French, 2 hours of reading, a movie, an hour of Maths, Geography and World History. It should be exciting.
  5. Take vitamins.
  6. Watch at least 3 movies a week. I have established a Film Club like David and Jesse Gilmour in his book, The Film Club.
  7. Draw more.
  8. Read the dictionary, both English & French.
  9. Watch silent films often.
  10. Read atleast 3 books a month.
  11. Save up for Amsterdam.
  12. Take piano lessons and learn Tiersen and Yiruma.
  13. Visit the library.
  14. Drink tea. Go teapots and teacups shopping!
  15. Lessen time spent surfing the Internet. Hmmm...
  16. Bake.
  17. Spend more time with friends, and make new friends.
  18. Rewatch childhood telly shows and movies.
  19. Drink plenty of water. Follow the Time to Drink app on my iPod.
  20. Learn Spanish and polish my French.
  21. Learn Arabic alphabet.
  22. Eat salad.
  23. Refresh my Hangul.
  24. Keep notes of those inspirational passages or quotes I read/ hear.
  25. Make more playlists.
  26. Get 8 hours of sleep every weekdays.
  27. Become graceful and confident.
  28. Stop procrastinating.
  29. Stop complaining.
  30. Confront shyness. Talk more often.
  31. Treat myself once in a while.
  32. Stop giving a fuck about what everyone else thinks and tie my hair with ribbons.
  33. Stop putting myself down like I'm ugly or that I'm hopeless.

And here's what I resolve to do more with French this year !

  1. Practice French everday.
  2. Talk to Isabel and Camille more. In French, of course. By the way, Camille is my French teacher at the moment. It's quite silly, actually because the first time we talked I asked her to not make a big deal about my French mistakes in someone else's blog... and now she's my teacher.
  3. Watch French movies and tv. My Film Club is working well and I have been watching a load of foreign films, especially French. In fact, I made a list of French films I have yet to watch.
  4. Listen to more French. As I've said, I have already a multitude of français chansons that I can now sing along to. And Camille sent me a list of French music to listen to. Plus the weekly French playlist Isabel sends me together with her e-mail.
  5. Read in French, and read French books.
  6. Try to apply what I have learned in any way possible. For example: this is the refrigerator (C'est le refrigerateur !)
  7. Be patient. It really is hard and I end up sleeping on top of all my exercise papers and notes (wearing my beret for self-motivation !)
  8. Listen to my French audio lessons: Pimsleur and Rocket French
  9. Plan a trip! Someday...
And that concludes my post for the day. I hope I'd be able to fulfill these starting tomorrow! Wish me luck, stranger.

P.S. Library section will be up soon! I just hope I'd fulfill my stop procrastinating resolution and be able to put it up by the end of the week! Ciao xoxoxoxo
