Do you want to know a secret?

Dear stranger,

It’s very warm today. As most of you don’t know, where i am currently based is the coldest place in the country. Today is different. It’s 3 in the afternoon and the sun is low and it shines through the window and everything looks gold. The sun has a midas touch and it makes kaleidoscopic shapes on the walls. It would have been nice to have my best friend here so we could catch gold dust particles flying through the air with our clammy hands.

Since moving into a new town (in her case, a new city) we missed out on all the fun we used to have when we were 3 years young. Oh how I miss our adventures, walking to the ends of the earth, exploring the most remote corners of our bags like an insider’s glance, taking advantage of our travels to nowhere to take pictures anywhere we go. We had always wanted to study here but she had to pursue her aspiration of becoming a doctor, which means settling in the big city to study in a high-standard university specialized in medical courses. I wouldn’t really call this as another account on the world wide web but an open letter informing her and everybody that i am well. So, Roxanne! The sun is slipping away now! I am blooming. I am fine. You don’t have to put on the red light! ;-)
