Dear stranger,
I went to Manila last week to watch The Beach Boys in Araneta Coliseum. It was such a great experience to have walked the streets of the city (with my good friends!) not knowing squat about it. So I had my friends take me everywhere I need to go. I get to ride the subway and walk the polluted streets of Cubao. It was very hot when I got there and I missed my town as soon as I got off the bus but still I had a ton of fun.
The Beach Boys were awesome. They played all their songs on my iPod and I started jumping that I barely took videos. I watched the concert by myself because my friends had to watch Boys Like Girls in the Mall of Asia which started at the same time. I think I was the only person who's born in the 90's and it was nice to be around people who share the same love.. and binoculars. I love how Brian Wilson encouraged us to stand and dance. It was so much fun and super worth the 7-hour trip.
It was all too much for two days! It was even the first time I ordered McDonald's online! Thank you Roxanne, Krystl, Koen and Fordan. You guys are my friends.
